One of IPG's primary mission is the training and support of practicum trainees and prelicensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Professional Clinical Counselors and Associate Clinical Social Workers and to provide the opportunity to accumulate the required hours for state licensure in California. IPG offers a diverse client and clinical experience, and is open to applications as space is available.
IPG’s training program offers opportunities to enhance clinical competency, including increasing clinical knowledge, clinical judgment, and clinical skills in a private practice setting. Practicum Trainees and Registered Associates receive weekly supervision, as well as new opportunities to refine existing skills learned through education and other training sites. IPG offers exciting new opportunities to expand in areas of practice as IPG grows as an organization in the not-for-profit sector. Opportunities for working with children and adolescents in the local school districts are also available.
